Dosing à la carte

Basically, titrating means intelligent dosing. With the Titrando, dosing takes place using Exchange Units. One of them is attached to the Titrando, which can also control other Dosimats with further Exchange Units. The Exchange Unit doses with the outstanding resolution of 20’000 steps per cylinder volume. It is intelligent, as it is equipped with a data chip containing all the necessary data about the reagent and the Exchange Unit that is required for the titration. This information is provided to the Titrando. Each Exchange Unit has a serial and a cylinder number and is supplied with an individual certificate.

The Dosino – space-saving engineering

Titrating is just intelligent dosing. With the Titrando, dosing is carried out by a Dosino and Dosing Unit mounted directly onto the reagent bottle. This means that dosing does not occupy more space than the footprint of the reagent bottle. The Dosino is equipped with state-of-the-art mechatronics. The Dosing Unit can be replaced in no time. It is intelligent, as it is equipped with a data chip containing all the necessary data about the reagent and the Dosing Unit that is required for the titration. This information is available to the Titrando. Each Dosing Unit has a serial and a cylinder number and is supplied with an individual certificate.

«ITrode ready»
The iTrodes of the new intelligent electrode generation allow the storage of such important sensor data as article and serial numbers, calibration data, calibration history, working life and calibration validity period. All sensor data is read in automatically when the iTrode is connected to the Titrando. Mix-ups or editing errors are therefore eliminated. The electrode is identified automatically. If the type of electrode is not the same as that defined in the method the user is informed. This means that it is not possible to use the wrong electrode. Monitoring functions allow the exclusion of electrodes whose calibration data lies outside the limits or whose calibration period has expired. The calibration data stored in the chip makes the electrode transferable; it does not need to be recalibrated each time that it is used with a different instrument.
