If required, it can also be used for the determination of anions and cations with electronic suppression. The 850 Professional IC Anion – MCS – Prep 3 includes automatic sample and eluent degassing, IC high-pressure pump with intelligent pump head, pulsation dampener, six-way injection valve with Maltese-cross drive, column thermostat for cooling or heating two iColumns, one external column position at ambient temperature and the intelligent high-performance conductivity detector with DSP (Digital Signal Processing).
Sequential suppression for anions has been implemented with the Metrohm Suppressor Module «MSM II» for chemical suppression and the Metrohm CO2 Suppressor «MCS» for CO2 suppression.
In the bottom segment of the system there is an additional anion sample preparation module «MSM XL» and a bidirectional dual-channel peristaltic pump. Both these components are used for Metrohm inline sample preparation.
The capillary connections are preinstalled in the 850 Professional IC Anion – MCS – Prep 3.
Operation of the 850 Professional IC Anion – MCS – Prep 3 requires the Metrodata MagIC Net™ software.
