The 709 IC Pump has been specially developed for ion chromatography. This compact and space-saving unit is compatible with the Metrohm IC System and many other HPLC and IC Systems. The double-piston pump with two valves guarantees extremely low residual pulsation and excellent flow stability. The actual or preset parameters can be checked on the LED display at any time. The pressure is measured very precisely by piezoresistive means. In order to ensure the greatest possibly safety for pressure-sensitive columns it is possible to enter upper and lower pressure limits.
The 709 IC Pump can be completely remote-controlled via the RS 232C data interface or via «current loops». The flow rate of the pump can be checked by using TTL signals via I/O lines.
