Only a single cable to the PC and up to 16 IC or HPLC peripheral devices including four detectors can be controlled independently or simultaneously. The 830 IC Interface and its associated Metrodata IC Net software guarantee total system control under Windows™ NT, 2000 and XP.
The hardware of the 830 IC Interface is responsible for data acquisition and AD conversion. The analog signals from four channels - always two at the same time - can be processed at high resolution. All system components - detectors, pumps, sample changers - are connected to the 830 IC Interface.
It does not matter how many devices are connected - a single RS 232C line forms the connection to the PC or Notebook. This means that no alterations to the computer hardware are required.
The construction of the interface guarantees minimal electronic noise. The 24-bit AD converter reliably resolves even very small signals that reach the interface via the specially shielded D-sub-9 cable.
