Touch Control is an ergonomic and modern operating element for Titrandos, USB Sample Processors and 846 Dosing Interface. You operate the Titrando from the Touch Control with your fingers. A single Touch Control can control up to three Titrandos.
The intuitive user guidance on the large graphics LCD screen informs you about the instrument status and clearly shows the «live» curve. The determination sequence can be programmed by the user as required.
You can hold the touch-sensitive color display in your hand, place it on the lab bench or use the (optional) holder to hook it onto a support rod or the wall. These last two possibilities save space and the Touch Control is also better protected against chemicals. The keypad film can be easily replaced.
Data must always be available: for direct information, for transmission to a data system, for further processing or for an audit. You can print out the data from your Titrando system (USB-compatible printer) and store it by conventional means. All progressive data management functions are also available, e.g. storage on a PCMCIA card. This is simple inserted into one of the two PCMCIA card slots of the Touch Control. Results, methods, sample data or a backup can be saved on the memory card. The memory card can also be used as a keycard (user identification). Methods and determinations are 100% compatible with PC-Control software.
Touch Control allows strict access control by using login and password. The requirements defined in FDA Regulation 21 CFR Part 11 regarding «electronic signature» and «electronic record» are complied with. This also applies to the further points of this regulation, i.e. protection against accidental or intentional alterations to electronically stored data, gapless traceability and an audit trail.
By using the (optional) Lab Link the Touch Control can be directly connected to a higher-ranking data system. Lab Link opens the internal networks (Intranet, LIMS, LAN) to the Touch Control. On request the Touch Control produces a machine-readable PC/LIMS report. One thing is clear: as regards storage and data transmission the Titrando represents the cutting edge of technology.
Standard dialog languages are English, German, French and Spanish.
Numerous well-proven standard methods are contained on the CompactFlash card provided. In addition, a demo version of the PC Control software is included for processing the data on a PC.
