The 882 Compact IC plus – Anion – MCS was developed for routine work to meet demanding analytical requirements in the µg/L – mg/L – g/L ranges. The instrument is equipped with the same intelligent system components as the 850 Professional IC. The detection limits are < 1 µg/L. The intelligent system components guarantee accurate and precise results and exclude nearly all operation errors. The 882 Compact IC plus – Anion – MCS can be completely automated. The combination with Metrohm Inline Sample Preparation techniques «MISP» such as inline ultrafiltration, inline dilution or inline dialysis is possible.
The 882 Compact IC plus – Anion – MCS is characterized by its space-saving design and its compact construction. It includes the IC high-pressure pump «iPump» with intelligent pump head and pulsation absorber, a six-port injection valve, a thermally insulated column compartment with column connector port for the separation column «iColumn» and the intelligent high-performance conductivity detector «iDetector» using digital signal processing «DSP». All capillary connections are preinstalled.
The 882 Compact IC plus – Anion – MCS can be used with sequential, chemical or without suppression. The instrument is equipped with the Metrohm suppressor module «MSM II» for chemical and the Metrohm CO2 suppressor «MCS» for CO2 suppression. By combining both suppressors a sequential suppression with extremely low background conductivity is achieved, which enables very sensitive analyses.
The MagIC Net™ chromatography software controls the 882 Compact IC plus – Anion – MCS and records all data.
