The Metrosep A Supp 1 is a universal anion column that is characterized by its high capacity and special selectivity. With this column it is possible to process samples with large differences in concentration. For example, 4 µg/L sulfate can be determined in a solution containing 150 g/L sodium chloride. It is also worth mentioning that bromide elutes after nitrate. The separating properties of the A Supp 1 are outstanding, particularly in the analysis of oxyhalides. Pressure variations, continually changing eluents and large sample throughputs do not influence the separating performance of this column, even after a very long time. It is the «workhorse» for development and routine laboratories.
