The Metrosep A Supp 10 – 50 separation column is based on a high-capacity styrene/divinylbenzene copolymer having a particle size of only 4.6 µm. Metrohm has optimized this time-tested column concept, which is characterized by its robustness, high selectivity and excellent separation performance. By variation of temperature, flow rate and eluent composition, the column characteristics can be adapted to the application at hand.
The short length and the relatively low total capacity of this 50 mm column allow very fast separations of the standard anions. At a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min these can be determined in less than five minutes.
